The Architecture Department IT Center provides service to over three hundred students and approximately thirty staff. These services range from keeping and providing a stable and secure work environment for the students (including account administration, computer and plotting maintenance) to enabling faculty to incorporate digital media into their curricular planning.

The student experience in architecture is greatly defined by the usability and flexibility of the IT environment. As students arrive in the department they are given an account which is their link to the resources available to them. These resources sole purpose is to enrich and encourage the design process.

Dedicated workstations can be found in the 4th floor Computer Lab, a facility that operates both as open lab and reserved teaching space for courses that make heavy use of computational technologies. Other workstations can be found in the Facility Management Lab and Architectural Preservation Lab.

Small and large format printers are located in  the 4th floor Plotting Lab including color plotters and laser printers. Loaner equipment can also be checked out from the Plotting Lab. More large-format printers can be found in the Media Output Center on the second floor of the Tyler building, adjacent to the Architecture Building.

An added resource is the TECH Center, a 600+ computer workstation facility located one block away, which includes dedicated workstations for Architecture students.
